Getting to Porto Cesareo by plane is easy: fly to Brindisi or Bari with e.g. RyanAir or Lufthansa and get a rental car at the airport (should be reserved in advanced) for your last bit of the way to Porto Cesareo.

Lecce, the capital of the same names province is just a short ride away from Porto Cesareo, the nearby Otranto, Gallipoli, Leuca and the town of Alberobello - famous for its unique house-architecture: the Trullis – allure with interesting impressions. Just like the bigger cities of Bari, Tarent and Brindisi.

A really special day-trip is our No. 1-recommendation: head to Otranto and take one of the ferries to the beautiful greek islands of Corfu or Paxi, enjoy the day on one of the islands and return in the evening.
